Heather Jelinek

Heather is a dedicated real estate professional with a passion for helping individuals and families find their perfect home in the vibrant community of Los Alamos. Originally from Georgia, Heather made the move to Los Alamos in 2019 alongside her husband, who retired from the military for a position at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Having immersed herself in the local culture, cuisine, and outdoor activities, Heather has developed a deep appreciation for northern New Mexico. Prior to her venture into real estate, Heather found fulfillment in teaching and working with young children. Her experience includes teaching at a private school in Georgia and serving as an educational assistant in the pre-K program within the Los Alamos Public School system.

Heather's journey into real estate began through her many endeavors in buying, remodeling, and selling homes throughout her and her husband’s military career. It was during these experiences that Heather discovered her love for unlocking the unique potential in each property. She believes that every home has its own story and is committed to helping her clients find homes that perfectly complement their lifestyles and aspirations.

When Heather isn't tirelessly assisting her clients in their quest for their dream home, she cherishes spending quality time with her family and beloved animals. With two adult children, one a talented machinist and the other pursuing a passion for acting, Heather's family remains her anchor. Meanwhile, her youngest keeps her active and engaged with Middle school and sports activities.

Outside of her profession and family, Heather indulges in her favorite hobbies, including horseback riding, scenic walks, and the art of interior decorating.
